Richard is originally from Pennsylvania and attended Slippery Rock University (yes, that’s the real name of a school) where he received his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2018, after ten years of clinical practice as a physical therapist, he made the transition to the financial industry as a financial planner with Capital Financial Group before joining the Continuum team in 2023. His focus is on comprehensive financial planning to provide a complete plan for a client to reach their goals, rather than an approach focused on one or two domains.

Without a plan people tend to make emotional decisions, often with less-than-optimal results. By helping to create a plan and continuing to reevaluate and update the plan regularly, our clients are more likely to achieve success.

Richard is married to his wife, Mallory, and they have three children, Dylan, Audrey, and Ella. Outside of work he enjoys playing the guitar and attends Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, TN. He volunteers his time on the board of The Haley Sue Foundation and with NextUp, a junior board that supports the Martha O’Bryan Foundation in Nashville, TN.
